The delivery went fine. Josh and Mom (Karen) were in the O.R. with me along with about 15 doctors and nurses. It was a circus. I still don't remember a whole lot because of all the drugs, but maybe that's a good thing. Choosing names was hard, but Josh and I finally decided on Mary Ella and Isabella. They are fraternal twins but many people comment on how alike they look. Some people are surprised that they are not identical. Mary Ella's eyes are beginning to change to a grey-blue, but Isabella's are still baby blue. I hope they stay the color she was born with.
Right now they are 4 months old. They are growing so fast, and doing so much!!! They are holding their heads up while on their stomach (as you can tell from the picture), they are reaching for objects, they are almost sleeping through the night, they love looking at mobiles (I set one up in the family room too), they "sing along" when they hear mama sing, and they laugh, smile and coo all day long!
Oh I wish they could just stay little forever. I love the stage they are in right now. I just love being a mom. Everything else in my life has been put on hold and that is just fine with me.
