Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

This is my very first ultrasound, the one where Josh and I found out we were having twins. It is also the only ultra sound where both "baby A" and "baby B" can fit in the same picture. More are sure to come. My next one will show what genders they are! I am so anxious to find out. There's no way I am patient enough to wait nine whole months to know if they are boys, girls, or one of each! :)

Merry Christmas!

Woah, it's been a while since I've updated! Sorry 'bout that. I've been busy, but now that seems like nothing compared to what busy will be like in about five months. I've just checked out the websites for two hospitals in my area: Jordan Valley and Pioneer Valley. I've never been to Pioneer Valley Hospital but I've heard from ladies at church who have had babies recently that I should go to Jordan Valley. They say that it is a newer, more modern facility. Then again, I might not have a choice which one I want to go to, Pioneer Valley is right across the street and I may just have to take the first one I can get to!
I've also been thinking about taking pregnancy classes. I mentioned it to Josh and he asked if that was what I wanted for Christmas...Now, I might just give that to him for Christmas!

Josh came to school to have lunch with me today. Isn't he sweet? He sat next to me in the faculty room while four of us "women-folk" talked babies, maternity clothes, cribs, carseats, and carriages. He asked if we could talk about huntin'. Tomorrow is my last day before Christmas break. I told the kids not to come back to school until "next year." They got excited until I added "Jan. 2, 2008." Today it hit me that this is the last Christmas party I will have with a fourth grade class for about ten years. Good thing Josh was there. I almost cried. I am so very happy that I will be starting the next chapter of my life as a stay-at-home mom, but I've also been a teacher (or going to school to become a teacher) for ten years. I'm going to miss it terribly. I know I'll be back to teach again when my youngest kids are in first grade, but I still feel the heartache of leaving something I love to do.

Well, Merry Christmas to all! I can't wait to see Mom and Dad! I still can't believe they're actually coming all the way up here for Christmas! Is this a first? I'm so happy they'll be here. Josh and I will play tour guides and show them all over town (temple square lights are a must).

Gotta go to bed, 'night.
